Our featured brand, Nia Shtai's collection of upcycled and graphic designs

Featured Brand: Nia Shtai Graphic Designs

At Dressed by Danielle, we are always looking for new ways to expand our community and connect with other like-minded individuals and brands.

We have a section of our shop that is permanently dedicated to featuring other sustainable, women-owned brands that offer physical products.

We are so excited to be currently working with Nia Shtai as our featured brand! Starting this month, a special collection of Nia's products will be up for sale in our store.

But first, lets hear a little bit about Nia Shtai from Nia herself:

"Hi there, my name is Evgenia Batrushtai, also known as Nia Shtai. I am a Ukrainian queer artist currently based in Tel Aviv. In 2014, I fled Ukraine to escape the looming war and found a new home in Israel.

My passion for fashion began in childhood when I started creating and designing my own clothing. Drawing inspiration from queer culture, fashion trends, and styles from every decade, I incorporate my personal experiences and cultural influences into my designs.

With a deep commitment to sustainability and ethics in fashion, I founded my upcycling brand. I strongly believe that the fashion industry must take responsibility for its impact on the environment and workers' rights. By upcycling second-hand clothing, I give new life to discarded garments, reduce waste, and create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. My ex-girlfriend and I have been designing upcycled clothing since 2011.

My graphic designs draw from diverse sources such as pop culture, street art, and my personal experiences. I love playing with bold colors and quirky designs to craft pieces that are both fun and meaningful."

Here's a glimpse at some of the products avaialble:

My graphic designs blend pop culture, street art, and personal experiences, resulting in vibrant and meaningful pieces.-Nia Shtai

Nia's collection will be featured for the next few months, so make sure to stop by on a Friday when we are open to the public or book a Private Shopping Session so you can come take a look for yourself!
