Featured Brand: Nia Shtai Graphic Designs

At Dressed by Danielle, we are always looking for new ways to expand our community and connect with other like-minded individuals and brands. 

We have a section of our shop that is permanently dedicated to featuring other sustainable, women-owned brands that offer physical products. 

 

We are so excited to be currently working with Nia Shtai as our featured brand! Starting this month, a special collection of Nia's products will be up for sale in our store. 

 

But first, lets hear a little bit about Nia Shtai from Nia herself: 

"Hi there, my name is Evgenia Batrushtai, also known as Nia Shtai. I am a Ukrainian queer artist currently based in Tel Aviv. In 2014, I fled Ukraine to escape the looming war and found a new home in Israel.

My passion for fashion began in childhood when I started creating and designing my own clothing. Drawing inspiration from queer culture, fashion trends, and styles from every decade, I incorporate my personal experiences and cultural influences into my designs.

With a deep commitment to sustainability and ethics in fashion, I founded my upcycling brand. I strongly believe that the fashion industry must take responsibility for its impact on the environment and workers' rights. By upcycling second-hand clothing, I give new life to discarded garments, reduce waste, and create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. My ex-girlfriend and I have been designing upcycled clothing since 2011.

My graphic designs draw from diverse sources such as pop culture, street art, and my personal experiences. I love playing with bold colors and quirky designs to craft pieces that are both fun and meaningful."

Nia's collection will be featured for the next few months, so make sure to stop by on a Friday when we are open to the public or book a Private Shopping Session so you can come take a look for yourself!
